Set your target width and height once and it applies to every file. Choose whether images fit inside the box, are cropped to fill it, or are padded to an exact canvas. Padding onto white is what most marketplaces expect for square listing images.

Frequently asked questions
How do I resize many images to the same size?
Add them all, set width and height once, and every file is processed to those dimensions. Use pad mode if you need an exact square canvas regardless of the original aspect ratio.
What is the difference between fit, crop and pad?
Fit scales the image to sit inside your box, keeping the whole subject but not filling the canvas exactly. Crop fills the box exactly and trims the overflow. Pad scales to fit, then adds a background to reach the exact canvas size.
Will resizing upscale small images?
Not by default. "Don't upscale small images" is on, so anything smaller than the target is left alone. Upscaling adds file size without adding real detail.
What size should e-commerce product images be?
Around 2000×2000 px is a safe default: large enough for zoom on every major marketplace, small enough to stay fast once compressed. Check the marketplace guides for exact requirements.
Does resizing reduce file size?
Substantially. File size scales roughly with pixel count, so halving the dimensions cuts the data by about three quarters before compression is even applied.
