Privacy Policy

Ecom Image Optimizer is designed to be private by default. This page explains what happens to your images and data when you use the tool.

How your images are handled

To resize, compress, convert or watermark an image, the file is sent over an encrypted HTTPS connection to our server, processed, and returned to you. This is what makes high-quality resampling and format conversion possible.

The file you upload is never stored. It is processed in memory and discarded as soon as the optimized version has been returned to you. That is true on every plan, with or without an account.

Without an account, the optimized file is kept for 24 hours and then deleted. It is not shown to you anywhere and there is no way to retrieve it: it is held so that we can see what the service is producing and investigate misuse, and it is removed automatically by a scheduled job. Because that job runs once a day, the real maximum is closer to 48 hours.

With an account, the optimized output is saved to your history so you can download it again later: 24 hours on the free plan, and one year from your most recent credit purchase if you have bought any. Because the job that erases them runs once a day, the file itself can sit on disk a little longer than the window you see. Everything held for you is listed on your account page, and the original you uploaded is still never among it.

A small number of authorised operators can open stored outputs. That access exists so that support requests can be answered and abuse can be investigated, and it is limited to what the account already holds. Your images are never sold, never shared with third parties, and never used to train anything.

No account required

You can use the tool without creating an account or providing any personal information. We do not ask for your name, email or payment details to optimize images.

Analytics & cookies

We may use privacy-friendly, aggregate analytics to understand how the tool is used (for example, page views and feature usage). This data does not identify you and never includes the contents of your images. (Placeholder: confirm your analytics setup before publishing.)

Third-party services

The site is served via standard web hosting and a content delivery network, which may process basic technical request data (such as IP address and user agent) to deliver and secure the site, as is typical for any website.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the tool evolves. Material changes will be reflected by the “last updated” date above.
